Simple Oreo Cake in Pressure Cooker

Hi Guys, hope you all are fine πŸ™‚

I am sure with the heading you guys are aware what i am going share today, however with my experience i feel that this cake is super Yummy,Hassle free and Easy to make and the best thing is if you do not have an oven you can bake it in a Pressure cooker. So lets begin.

Ingredients

  • Oreo cream biscuit : 20 Pieces

  • Milk : 1 Cup

  • Baking powder : 2/3 Tablespoon

  • Butter/Vegetable oil : for Coating

  • Castor Sugar : according to the taste

  • Baking Bowl/any bowl that has a thick base and walls and something that can fit in the pressure cooker

  • Plain flour : for Coating

Method

  • Crush the Oreo biscuit with hands and add the crushed biscuit in a mixer jar, till it does not have that powdery texture.

  • Shift the powder into a bowl

  • Now add the Baking powder, Castor Sugar, milk in the Oreo Powder

  • Mix all these ingredients together with a spoon or spatula till it does not form a smooth paste

  • Coat butter/Vegetable oil and plain flour to the baking bowl

  • Pour the batter into the baking bowl and spread it evenly and keep it aside

  • Remove the pressure cooker lid,the rubber ring and the whistle

  • Add half a cup of salt at the bottom of the pressure cooker and on top of that keep a plate

  • Close the lid and pre heat it for 5 minutes in low heat

  • After 5 minutes place the baking bowl into the cooker, close the lid and bake the cake for 40 minutes in very low heat

  • After 40 minutes let it cool down and once its cooled down you can take a tooth pick and check if it is cooked,if there is no cake on the tooth pick and comes out clear then your cake is done.

  • Cut it into desired pieces and serve it

Hope you guys enjoy making this cake
