What to wear during Pregnancy

Most women get confused what to wear on a daily basis,specially during the time of Pregnancy,who would not want to look beautiful and perfect at this time,however we still want to wear clothes that are more comfortable and yes not forgetting the OOMPH factor.Today i would be giving information on what to wear during pregnancy.So with further adieu lets get started.

First of all those clothes that are tight and are there in you closet needs to be kept aside and start wearing Soft knits, Frocks, Wrap skirts, Dresses (Maxi dress,Shift dress), Long Tank Top,Tunics and Unstructured Cardigan .Material plays a very important role here, doesn't mean that you wear a tent to camouflage that few pounds.Choose light and comfortable clothes,specially that provides proper support to your stomach.Always remember layering does not make you look larger if done the right wear,many of us during pregnancy choose dark colors however we should never shy away from colors and if you still are not comfortable you can wear patterns and stripes.

If you choose to wear pants during pregnancy make sure to choose good set of maternity pants or you can never go wrong with Leggings as its stretchy and very comfortable, however maternity pants can be a bit costly so the alternative to this is to buy maternity belly band.

Its like a large elastic band made from flexible material and you can wear pants or jeans completely unbuttoned or when you feel  your pants or jeans are too tight.The best part about this band is you can wear a long shirt and no one will know that you are wearing this band to hold up your pants.

You can also try maternity belts which supports your belly, relieves pelvic pressure,pains and aches,however you need to keep in mind that the Maternity belt will not hold your pants up.So Belly Band and Maternity Belt are different.

Stay away from underwear that is tight at the waist,you can even go up a size during pregnancy.
Types of underwear that you can use are High -Waisted (make sure to check there is enough stretch so that it does not pull or pinch the skin), Low -Waisted : this type of underwear does not does hug the hips or bum,Thongs: with this there are chances to make the panty lines more visible if you wear under clothing,so if you choose to go with the thong check out whether the panty lines are visible or not and its is always good to choose a size bigger during pregnancy. However cotton fabric are always good as it avoids bacteria or fungal infections.

Stay away from wired bras as they do not let the breast tissue to grow. Make sure you have the right measurement and the right fabric,the fabric needs to be breathable, comfortable and stretchy.Learn to use maternity bras as it would also be an advantage after child birth. Bras with wide strap gives proper support and there is no strain on shoulders.

What to avoid during Pregnancy

Avoid wearing tube blouse
Wearing too loose clothes that make you look like a tent
Wearing your old or tight fitted clothes that do not fit you
Wearing high heels which is uncomfortable and there would be chances to fall

Now days our main concern for most of us is Pigmentation.Today i would be giving some information on what pigmentation is and how we can control it,however i am not a professional in it but with my personal experience and a lot of research i would love to share my thoughts.So lets begin

What is Pigmentation

When there are some changes to the skin that appear darker or lighter compare to your normal skin is Pigmentation

What are Brown patches  

Brown patches appear on exposed skin areas like face,neck,hands,chest.These are caused by sun,genetic or ageing.

Types of Pigmentation

Sun Spot : When skin is regularly exposed to the sun it can cause dark spots,so you need a lot of sunscreen

Laser Treatments : You need to make sure you go to a trained specialist and do a proper research

Melasma : Due to hormonal changes specially if a woman is pregnant can cause pigmentation on cheeks,forehead,neck areas or around the lips however if these patches are caused due to pregnancy they mostly fade away post pregnancy

Freckles : We all know what freckles are but too much sun exposure can darken it

Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation : Acne,Pimple,Excessive irritation to the skin,Overuse of certain chemicals,Chemical Peels.

Home Remedies For Skin Pigmentation

#1 PAPAYA : Grate Papaya and extract the juice,apply it on the pigmented areas,follow this process for a month or so however it depends on the pigmentation how dark or light it is.

#2  AVOCADOS : It has Vitamin C and Oleic Acid and Rich in Fatty Acids.Mash Avocado into a paste and apply on the pigmented areas,if anyone is allergic to Latex please avoid it.

#3 POTATOES : This is my favourite and it helped me to get rid of some pigmentation with constant application,grate some potatoes and squeeze the juice out of it and apply it on those pigmented areas and leave it for 20-30 minutes,however i leave it till it dries.

#4 LEMON : It has citric acid and its a natural remedy to bleach the skin and get rid of dark blemishes,extract some lemon juice and with a cotton ball gently dab it on the skin.Leave it for 10-20 minutes and wash it with water.

#5 APPLE CIDER VINEGAR : Is Magical to remove dark patches on the skin,mix equal part of Apple Cider Vinegar and Water,use this solution on effected areas, leave it for 2-5 minutes and rinse it off with lukewarm water.(Where can you buy it ) http://amzn.to/2qSnTfL

There are many home remedies available but remember you need to have a lot of patience

My Top Summer Essentials

Hello,Friends Hope you all are doing fine today!!!!!!😆

Summer!Summer!Summer its just annoying and this is the time where i would definitely use products to beat the heat.These are some products that i love using at this time of the year.

 

Lets Start with the Face 

 

#1 Aloe vera gel : I use the Patanjali Saundarya aloe vera gel,it has a unique blend of Chandan and Kesar and its an instant solution for pimples,wrinkles  and glowing skin,I have been using this product for a year and i do like it,i use this after washing my face in the morning and before crashing at night,i use this even as a moisturiser and even as a primer so in short i use it everyday and every time i step out of the house or if i am in the house.

#2 Sunscreen : The Aroma Magic Aloe vera sunscreen gel SPF 20 and i do like it however i love the neutrogena ultra dry touch and have used it for years so i got a little over bored but the Aroma Magic Aloe vera sunscreen gel SPF 20 is not bad and the best part it claims that it is 100% paraben,oxybenzone,harsh chemicals,alcohol and artificial fragrance FREE.It has a gel like consistency,non greasy and absorbs quickly in the skin with a refreshing fragrance,all i wish that it had a higher SPF.

#3 BB Cream : As of now i dont like using foundation  and i did not mean that in future i will not purchase it however now i have my eyes on BB Creams,I use the L.A.Girl Pro.BB Cream HD.I am in the shade medium,i have oily skin and this is perfect,it blends easily,does not feel heavy or cakey (atleast for me),no artificial fragrance,its non greasy,does not leave any white cast however the coverage is medium.

#4 Face Pack : I use a homemade coffee and egg pack,i do not like investing much in Face Packs,its not that i do not buy face packs at all but i prefer the DIY face packs,so if you girls want a review on how to make this pack please let me know.

# 5 Face Wash : I use to use the L'Oreal Paris 360 Clean anti break out facial cleanser which i like because i have oily and acne pron skin,now i stopped using it and started using besan and apple cider vinegar, again if you do want a review please let me know in the comment below.

  Eyes, Lips and Nails

#6  Eyes: Maybelline  Newyork Lash Sensational Mascara i have been using this product for more then a year and i really really like it,as we know its summer so i do not like using any kajal or eyeliner,this mascara is amazing and it does the job, it does not clump and gives volume as well as length as the wand of the mascara is bang on.

#8 Nails : Nykaa Matte Nail Lacquer,i have mixed feeling for this nail polish,i loved the color,packaging is matte but after 2 days it started chipping and i wanted to give it a chance so after a week again i applied it and this time after a day it had become semi matte i mean the matte feeling had all gone and it had a shiny finish but i still use it because the color looks cool which is perfect for summer

     

Now lets talk about Body wash and perfume and we are almost there i mean the END (lol)

 

#9 Body Wash : To give you that refreshing and clean feeling,I use the Palmolive Body Butter Heavenly Vanilla,after using it  my skin feels satiny smooth and superbly clean,by the way is use it with a Loofah and the smell is to die for.

#10 Perfume : Skinn by Titan believe me guys the fragrance is a must have for every girl,i am a perfume lover and do have perfume from different brands but i cannot stop using this,the smell is not on the face type its neither light nor too strong and it stays for a very long time.

#11 How could i miss the most essential thing this summer which is WATER,yes girlies please do not forget to drink water as it keeps us hydrated,flushes out toxins and keep our system cool and healthy.

Lakme 9 to 5 Weightless Matte Mousse Lip and Cheek Color Overview

Who would not like to have that perfect Lipstick,I'm one of them who would want my lipstick to be long lasting,have that perfect shade and worth the money.Today i would like to share my views about the Lakme 9 to 5 Weightless Matte Mousse Lip and Cheek Color,so lets get started.

What it Claims

There is no need to touch up and it is perfect for office wear,this is the first time that Lakme is launching their Lip and Cheek color ,it has a mousse texture and as the name says it all its weightless with a powdery finish.They have come up with many colors that you can choose,The applicator brush glides smoothly giving a very smooth finish.

Ingredients : PVP / Hexadecene copolymer, Nylon powder, Cyclomethicon

Price : 575 INR

My Overview

I have used 2 colors from this range Rose Touch and Coffee Lite,it comes in a sleek tube which is pink in color and the cap is rose gold.I absolutely love the smell as it reminds me of vanilla yummy and i am drooling (lol) jokes apart,the applicator is not wonky infact it is great and it glides smoothly.It has a soft matte finish and you will not feel heavy or uncomfortable after using it,infact it is very light and comfy.After using it i did not long for a lip balm,however before using the Lakme 9 to 5 Weightless Matte Mousse Lip and Cheek Color if you do have dry lips you need to exfoliate or apply lip balm otherwise it will cling on to your dry lips and make it more visible.

What i felt about the blush part is that it did not work atleast for me though it is easy to blend or i might have used too less of the product on my cheeks,i have not tried the other colors so i would not say much for the blush(however if you girls want me to try any other color do let me know). It stayed on my lips for 3-5 hours in between i drank water and i notice that it did not transfer,however after 2 hours i had lunch and it started fading from the center of my lips and i had to reapply.

Overall i feel that it is a good light weight product,i will purchase it in future once i am over with it,I like the shades that i bought and perfect for office wear, when you are in that mood of no makeup look these shades help a lot

Pros

• Can be used as a blush

• Does not bleed

Cons : Blush did not work for me

BRAUN Silk.epil7 Epilator

Hi Friends,hope you all are doing good today!!!!!😎

I will be reviewing the Braun Epilator for you guys and my experience with it.The epilator comes in a black cardboard box with printing on it,the epilator is white in color with some glitter and the best part is that it also has a smart light attached to it with 5 head caps,the box also has a user manual with a pack of free wet tissue,it also has a charger and a pouch to keep the epilator or the head caps and a small cleaning brush.
I prefer using an epilator because i feel its hassle free,not so complicating and not time consuming ,just put on the epilator and there you go!!!!!,however different people prefer different ways to remove unwanted hair.

This pic shows when the smart light is ON,so as soon as you put on the epilator the smart light comes on automatically,the light is very bright and it helps to see the finest hair giving a better control while epilating

When the epilator is not switched ON it looks like this,so what you need to do is the circle in the center of the epilator has a lock key,so press the lock key clock wise to select your preferred speed.

                                                How to Epilate

• Always stretch you skin while epilating 
• Make sure that the epilation area between the massaging rollers is in contact with your skin
• Epilate your legs from lower leg in an upward direction
• Underarm area please remember that some areas are very sensitive,while epilating the underarm,keep your arm raised up so that the skin is stretched
• Removing unwanted hair from face please do not forget to stretch your skin
  

                                            Some Need to Know Information

• Before use do not forget to check if the epilator has full charge in it ,the green light flashes to show that it is charging and when the battery is full the charging light shines permanently
• The appliance can be used on wet and dry skin
• Epilation is easier when hair is at a length of 2-5 mm 
• The best time to epilate is in the evening,so that any possible reddening can disappear overnight 
• To relax the skin apply a moisture cream after epilation
• While using the appliance make sure it does not come in contact with the hair on your head,eyelashes to prevent injury
• For hygienic reasons,do not share the appliance
• Before epilating skin must be dry and grease free
• Regular cleaning of the epilator ensures better performance

                                            My take on it 

To be honest this is my first epilator that i have bought,i used it for 2 months and my skin did feel baby soft,the first time i used it was on my face and it hurt like hell,however now my skin is use to it and it does not hurt if i compare it to the first time.Before using the epilator (i use it in the evening) i make sure i don't have any grease on my skin so i use the free wipe that came with it and post epilating i use ice on my face and wait for 1 minute and then apply aloe vera,it does remove fine hair but if you do have coarse hair then it does not (that's what i have experienced) .I wish it would work on batteries too so if you have to travel you do not have to carry the charger everywhere.
